Standards & install

Australian-compliant install.

Refrigeration pipework, electrical connections and commissioning must be completed by a licensed refrigerant handler and electrician — not a DIY job. Standards your installer works to:

  • AS/NZS 3000 — Electrical installations (wiring rules)
  • AS/NZS 5149 — Refrigerating systems & heat pumps
  • ARC RH licence (refrigerant handling) required
  • ARC AU40 / AU41 trading authorisation for the installing business
We can pre-fit the indoor unit and rough-in the pipework before your SmartShift leaves the yard — your local installer connects, gas-charges and commissions on site. Ask us about pre-fit when you quote.
