Does the price include delivery?
Delivery is charged per km from our depot and is not included in the base price. Give us your address and we'll give you an exact number.
Is nationwide delivery available?
Yes — we deliver across Australia and coordinate transport as part of your package.
Do you install the homes?
Yes, setup and fit-out is available at an additional cost depending on your location. Ask us when you enquire.
What's the turnaround time?
12-14 weeks on made-to-order units. If we have your model in stock, we can move much faster — contact us to check current availability.
Can you do Class 1A builds?
Yes — we can build any of our homes to the Class 1A standard. Pricing is site-specific, so get in touch with our team to discuss.
Do they come with a warranty?
All homes come with a 3-year structural warranty. See our Warranty Agreement for full details.
What foundation do they sit on?
Concrete slabs or piers/footings are most common. The right option depends on your site, model size, and configuration.
Do the trailers need to be registered?
No registration needed — just compliance. The trailer must have a VIN number and a compliance plate.
Can units be fully off-grid?
Yes. We offer solar, water, aircon, and off-grid waste solutions. See our Accessories page for the full range.
Do I need council approval?
Your unit may qualify as a caravan, which can bypass council approval. Rules vary by council — we recommend checking locally and can help guide you through the process.
Are they built to Australian Standards?
Yes. Electrical components are SAA/Global Mark certified. Plumbing is WaterMark certified and AS/NZS 3000/3001 compliant. Trailers comply with Australian Design Rules.
Can I customise the layout, finishes or features?
Yes — right through to a fully custom layout. Most models come in several stock floorplans, and from there you can specify flooring, joinery colour, benchtops, cladding, glazing and add-ons (decking, solar, water, aircon). If none of the stock plans fit, we'll design one to your brief. Tell us what you're after and we'll quote it.
What's included in the base price?
The fully built unit — structure, cladding, roof, insulation, internal fit-out, plumbing rough-ins, electrical, lighting, kitchen and bathroom fittings. Delivery, installation, site works, services connection and accessories are quoted separately.
Do you offer finance?
We don't lend directly, but our Finance page lists the brokers and lenders our customers most commonly use for portable homes and tiny dwellings. Pre-approval before you order makes everything smoother.
Can the unit be moved later?
Yes. Trailer-mounted units are built for repeat relocation. Static units sit on piers, footings or a slab and can be lifted and re-sited with a crane or HIAB if needed.
How are they connected to power, water and waste?
Standard hookup is to mains power, town water and sewer or septic. We can also configure fully off-grid with solar + battery, rainwater tanks and a Graf or Nature-Loo waste system — see our Accessories page.
Are they suitable for cyclone or bushfire areas?
We can specify higher wind-rating frames and BAL-rated cladding and glazing where required. Tell us your site's classification and we'll confirm what's needed before you order.
Can I use it as a short-term rental or Airbnb?
Yes — many of our customers do. Short-stay accommodation rules vary by council, so check locally before listing. We're happy to share what we've seen work in your area.
What site preparation do I need to do?
For a trailer-mounted unit, a flat accessible pad and a few level points. For static units, you'll need a slab, piers or screw piles depending on the model. Once your order is locked in we'll send a site-prep guide tailored to your build.
