Supplied as a full Mitsubishi Electric kit. The 80-size outdoor unit needs single-phase 15A or 20A circuit depending on installer's load-up — confirm with your electrician before quoting power.

Standards & install

Australian-compliant install.

Refrigeration pipework, electrical connections and commissioning must be completed by a licensed refrigerant handler and electrician. Standards your installer works to:

AS/NZS 3000 — Electrical installations (wiring rules)
AS/NZS 5149 — Refrigerating systems & heat pumps
ARC RH licence (refrigerant handling) required
ARC AU40 / AU41 trading authorisation for the installing business

The 80-size outdoor unit is heavier (55 kg) and louder than the smaller AP models — discuss mounting location with your installer to keep clear of bedrooms and neighbour boundaries.
